Below, you will find information as well as registration links for our 3 group friendly Anywhere Projects. Each lesson plan is customized to address a community need in a kid-friendly way, with an educational video and a hands-on activity that should take 30-45 minutes. Kids will learn about food insecurity through a video lesson and age-appropriate discussion, building empathy for neighbors experiencing hunger. Then, helping hands will show care by decorating and assembling snack bags for hungry neighbors in our community.
Kids will learn about homelessness and build empathy for the daily challenges our unhoused neighbors face through a video lesson and age-appropriate discussion. Then they will create cheer cards and pack personal care kits filled with everyday items for unhoused neighbors in our community.
Help us express gratitude to military service members! Children will learn about the military experience through a video lesson and age-appropriate discussion. Then helping hands will create thank you cards to be sent to veterans and military service members both near and far.
